Hotels London
It is almost unfair to be able to visit London only for ten days. You don’t have time enough to visit half of the most famous attractions. I visited the city last month with school. As I go to a bilingual one, the last year, traditionally, students visit the British Capital. Students and professors stayed in the beginning at the same hotel, called Britannia international hotel. The first days we hardly got there just to sleep, as we were very busy running around the city in order to visit as many famous places as we could: Saint Paul’s Cathedral, The Tower of London, The Victoria & Albert Museum and The British Airways London Eye. The fifth day we had a little problem. There was a misunderstanding with the hotel. They thought we would stay there for five days and had no room for us for the rest of the time. Then we had to spend time in finding a London hotel accommodation. It was not easy at all. We walked the whole day looking for one. But as it was a beautiful day, we made the decision of visiting the National Portrait Gallery and take our chances to get a place to sleep later. When we were running out of hope, we found just for one night some rooms at the The Russell Hotel London. The next day was almost a copy of the previous. We spent our time in the amazing Tate Modern and the Natural History Museum, where we really enjoyed the 40 million year old spider, the earthquake simulator and an elephant bird egg. When leaving, one of my friends found a flyer of discount Hotel London with many useful addresses. We had some food at a very fancy restaurant and then found a definitive place for our last days at Mystery Hotel Hyde Park London. It is not easy to say which of all the places we met my favourite was. But one thing I must stress is how well treated we felt. Everybody was really nice and tried to help as far as they could. Now I am back to my country but two of my teachers decided to stay for an extra week. I have just received an email from them and I found it funny to read that they had to change of hotel again. Now they are staying in one called Sunborn Yacht Hotel and they are really comfortable there, according to their email.
